The first concept of The Huemon was about a green monk coming across a blue person arguing with a yellow person and helping them find peace, which turns each green like him- just like mixing blue and yellow paint creates green paint. The next question was “What would happen if he met a red person?”
When following a simple color wheel, red is opposite green. If the green monk was gentle and tender, then the red person could be angry and combative. This led me to wonder about the other colors and what personalities would fit for each.
We follow Turtle, a Greenmon who enjoys bringing peace to those around him, meeting each color Huemon and influencing them to turn green- until he faces a Redmon. After this tense encounter, Turtle learns about the value of all Huemon forms, that these differences are a part of him as well, and how this inner harmony can help him find harmony with others.
