Welcome to Planet Prisma, home of the Huemons! Huemons are beings whose physical bodies are linked to their personalities and emotions, displaying different colors depending on their inner feelings and outer influences.

Huemons exist on a color wheel, each with their own opposite. They may shift between any color as their emotions change, either blushing into the next personality over, or flipping into their opposite with a sudden burst of that specific color’s expression.

Redmon are aggressive and assertive, while their opposite Greenmon are gentle and passive. Orangemon are anxious and cautious, while their opposite Bluemon are relaxed and oblivious. Yellowmon are excited and impulsive, while their opposite Violetmon are gloomy and contemplative. No matter the color or personality, all belong to the same Huemon family.

What are Huemons?

“Who, me? I’m a Huemon, same as you!”

My name is Austin Green, and the idea for “The Huemon” came to me in 2020, just a few months after graduating college and moving to New York City to begin my career as a filmmaker/actor- a career abruptly cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.

After coming back home I began to work on what I could to keep my creativity flowing. It was at that time when the current political, social and even medical divide of not just America but the world had become very apparent to me- I felt called to make something that could help people remember our shared humanity.

It began with the idea of a children’s book which quickly evolved into an entire world fit for an animated series. For years I’ve written scripts, drawn concept art, forged world history/lore, and crafted a magic system for the show (as I am a big fantasy nerd).

A challenge I faced during that time was colon cancer, which I’m grateful to say healed with practices including meditation and tai chi. Like my friends and family, this project also served as a rock for my recovery. My goal is to inspire people to believe in themselves, open their hearts/minds, and remember the humanity, the world, and the life we all share.
